Yep, Manukan Island this time... with my husband's nephew (Anselmo, his gf Marielena), myself and Francesca... this is Francesca very first trip to an Island!
Im sure she's going to be excited...
A very hot and sunny day...which is a very good day togo an Island. We arrived
at the Jetty around 10.30am! Yep..we're not too late but just on the right timing!!!
Hop up to the boat and then 'here we go'..........
As soon as we arrived the Island, we got the right spot straight away..but me
and Francesca can't wait to grab for some food.. so we walk to look for
the Island restaurant.. and we had not-so-very-nice 'chicken rice'..
but its alright! as long as our tummy is filled!
Bought her a nice 'sand castle making' toys in the Island, and she liked it.
The sun is getting stronger and stronger.. no doubt cos it was around 1 noon..
She played her toys while I lay myself and enjoying the view...
@ 4pm, and its time to go back.. hop back to our boat, poor Francesca looks very exhausted went straight to her nap on the boat! Bet she enjoyed it very much!
too windy
It was yesterday (30th August, 2008) @ her (Dora) house, as today is her special day in her life! 'she's getting married'!!! My cousin, Francisca, Ina and myself gathered to help her to do bit of make-up-ping..and fitting!!! ( macam pro? haha ) turned out not bad.... sweet!
It was a traditional marriage kinda of thing and lasted for 2hours, I must say it was... huh!!!very long discussion~! Plus it was heavy pouring rain..didnt really hear what they discussing!!!
After exchanging ring ceremony, everyone went down and grab foods which have been prepared earlier this morning.. (mmm must be cold already!) WTF very hungry already... ngap ngap ngap~!
and I had 2 rounds! nothing much going on later, as its a very simple gathering.. so I decided to go back... saying goodbyes then -off!!!

Nice day altho' it was terribly hot n humid day!! We had fun, had tanned, and had a nice snacks..
The next day, went out for window shopping.. brought them to the Wisma Merdeka, Wawasan Plaza, Center Point.. pretty tired after that.. As for dinner, brought them to Kg.Nelayan as they are dying for Aragosta...mmmmm yummy,i know! So there we are..enjoying the FOODS -Calamari Fritto, Aragosta, Boil Prawns, Chinese spaghetti and Oysters... BEERS & Cultural dance....
Marcello's nephew Anselmo is coming down to KK for a month visit.. coming together also with his gf Marielena.. Arrived on Wed's night.. I never see him in person except only in the foto..have no idea how he's going to be look like...
His gf actually recognised me first..waving her hands towards me and here there are... Welcome!~!~!~!~!~!
As soon as the luggages settled in the car.. wow!!! Their 'very fast Italian' seems not to be understandable for me.. Im like ...????? Scusa mi.. posso parla piano piano? hehehe
Him (Anselmo) talking like a 'Padas River' where now I understood him talking mixing Italian dialect (Fagionese,Milanese,San Severonese..etc) all in one!!!! His gf were so sweet, to make it slow and understandable.. ahh thats bettter!
Then we went to GRAZIE for dinner..have a chat..chat..and more chat! Got home almost midnight, received bunch of food from Italy..yum yum yum.. (Salamis, Saffron & Porcini in sachets, Parmesan).. apalagi!!!! TRUS MAKAN!!!
